People of Saudi Arabia, America, Britain, Canada etc. started fasting from March 11, 2024. According to the Islamic calendar Hijri, a month is of 29 or 30 days. If this year’s Ramadan lasts for 29 days, then the Eid moon can be seen in these countries on Monday, April 8. In India, fasting was started from 12 March 2024. Therefore, the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr can be seen in India on 9th April.

When will Eid be celebrated in Saudi Arabia?

If the moon is sighted after iftar on the evening of April 8 in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, United Kingdom and other countries in the Middle East and West, then Eid-ul- The festival of Fitr will be celebrated on the next day i.e. April 09, 2024, but if the moon is not visible on Monday evening. So, in these countries the moon will be moon night on Tuesday, April 09, i.e. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

When is Eid-ul-Fitr in India?

Let us tell you that Eid-ul-Fitr is the time of celebration when all the families and friends of the Muslim society gather on the rooftops of their homes or courtyards or parks or any open space to see the moon at the end of the last day of Ramadan. If Indian Muslims along with South Asian countries see the moon in the evening on Tuesday i.e. April 09, 2024, then Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on the next day.

Wednesday April 10, 2023. If this does not happen then Muslims in other South Asian countries including India will keep fast the next day also. Then the moon will be visible after Iftar on Wednesday, 10th April and Eid will be celebrated on Thursday i.e. 11th April 2023.

When is the last day of Ramadan?

The Australian Fatwa Council also announced on Monday that the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 10, 2024). With this announcement, it has been decided that the month of Shawwal will start from 10th April and 9th April 2024 will be the last day of Ramadan.

The Australian Fatwa Council has confirmed that the new moon will rise on Tuesday (April 9, 2024). It can be seen in Perth and Sydney. According to the Australian Fatwa Council, April 9 will be the last day of Ramadan and the festival of Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 10, 2024).
